Michelle A.
Abeckjerr, Esq.
Founding Member / Managing Attorney
As a founding member of Abeckjerr Immigration Law, Michelle’s practice focuses on business immigration. She also has extensive experience representing individuals, families, employers, and investors for immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications.
Michelle has administered and prepared employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, specifically PERM, H1B, H3, L and EB1C for multinational executives and managers; investment-based immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, including E1, E2, and EB5; and applications for non-immigrant and immigrant visas of extraordinary ability, including O, P and EB1 for Aliens of Extraordinary Abilities, whether they are musicians, actors, entertainers, researchers, doctors, teachers, business executives and professional athletes.
In terms of her training, she graduated with honors from the University of Miami School of Law, where she received a Dean’s Scholarship. During her time there, she was actively involved in the university’s Immigration Clinic, advocating for immigrants within a wide variety of complex immigration procedures. Michelle represented several clients in deportation proceedings, with cases of asylum, cancellation of removal and special juvenile immigrant status. Additionally, she worked as a legal intern for the non-profit law firm, Americans for Immigrant Justice, where she dedicated her work to helping immigration detainees.
During her time at law school, she was also President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association – University of Miami School of Law + President of the Cardozo Legal Society.

Senior Immigration Specialist
Carolina is a Certified Translator and her passions are language and law. Her background in translating legal documents has equipped her with an exceptional skill set for her role at Abeckjerr Immigration Law. She is deeply involved in handling a variety of immigration cases, including O-1 visas, EB-1 and EB-2 NIW petitions, marriage cases, and adjustments of status.
She verifies that each document meets legal standards and follows the necessary protocols, ensuring the submission of an outstanding quality case for our clients.
Elizabeth D'elia
Immigration Specialist
Elizabeth is a dedicated attorney with extensive experience in family and immigration law. She has held key roles at prominent law firms, where she focused on guiding clients through complex legal matters with precision and care. Elizabeth specializes in employment-based immigration and family law, bringing a compassionate approach to every case she handles. She holds a Law Degree from Universidad Abierta Interamericana in Argentina and is deeply committed to delivering personalized support, clear communication, and strong advocacy to help clients achieve their goals.
Fernanda Pereira
Onboarding & Customer Experience Manager
Fernanda is an Attorney with a Law degree from the National University of Cordoba. Her background working with international companies led her to the immigration world and this role.
Her passion is to deliver excellent service to her customers and provide the best experience possible. She strives daily to bring a positive attitude, and the best solutions to the table.
Alanna Rizel
Immigration Specialist
Alanna is a dedicated Immigration Specialist with a strong foundation in both law and strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management and Digital Strategy from Harvard Extension School. Her diverse academic background gives her a unique ability to approach each case with both analytical precision and clear, effective communication.
Alanna specializes in employment-based immigration, with hands-on experience handling O-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, and P-1 visa cases. She is committed to guiding clients through complex immigration processes with care and attention to detail, ensuring every petition meets the highest legal standards. Her goal is to provide each client with personalized support and strong advocacy every step of the way.
Martin Perelmuter
Business Development
Martin has over 15 years of business experience and an M.B.A. from Florida State University. He is responsible for day-to-day business and office operations and supports our clients throughout their process.
He is responsible for the brand image, PR, marketing, and most importantly, our business development and partnerships.
He has vast experience developing businesses from the ground up and managing growth worldwide.

Intake & Bookkeeping Clerk
Maria has formal training in law and experience in immigration, client onboarding, and legal document management. Her background in legal studies has given her a solid command of immigration procedures, legal terminology, and the standards that legal documentation must meet, along with careful handling of sensitive information and a keen eye for detail.
At Abeckjerr, Maria manages intake and bookkeeping, making sure client information and documentation are organized, accurate, and handled efficiently. Her legal background, combined with her organized, thorough approach and strong communication skills, allows her to provide reliable support to the team throughout each case.
